Who manages the community?

The community’s Board of Directors hires contractors to perform various maintenance.

  • The Members elect a Board of Directors, which makes the day-to-day decisions. This way, decisions may be made efficiently and in the best interest of the group.
  • The Cooperative may contract for certain management tasks (such as ground maintenance).
  • Contract personnel work under the direction of the Board. The Board oversees outside contractors to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the contract.
  • We also have a property management company responsible for duties such as collecting monthly rent, paying bills and retaining financial records.
